Lambchop来自美国田纳西州的 Nashville市，一个以乡谣音乐闻名的地方。而他们玩的亦正是乡谣音乐。 把Lambchop 称之为 “乐队” 似乎低估了他们的势力，因为这个由Kurt Wagner带领的 “团体” 足足有十四位成员，几乎是一般乐队的好几倍。2000年的专辑 “Nixon” 虽然被NME点名大赞, 但查实Lambchop在美国方面alternative country界的名声， 却早已自96年的 “How I Quit Smoking” 和98年的 “What Another Man Spills” 等出色的作品确立下来。
